Wisdom teeth got rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon. By complete coincidence, this means I will still be on the good painkillers when my period starts, which means kiss goodbye to cramps. Eeeeexcellent.

Hope it goes as well as mine did. (seriously, I was eating solid food the next evening - my only real problem was that my jaw was stiff and sore from being open for so long that it was a week before I could open it all the way again. But I had surgery on monday, was eating pork roast on Tuesday night, flew to DC on Thursday and was eating sandwiches - carefully - on Friday.) Of course, I only had three, since I'm apparently a freak of nature. But oral surgery isn't always hell.

And I was perfectly fine until I took painkillers (I mean, I went shopping after surgery!). But, I blame that on the fact that my parents gave me my brother's painkillers from when he got his out, and they were too strong for the likes of me.

And, I have survived four oral surgeries. They really aren't all that bad at all.

As far as things healing up fast, I'm hopeful but not expectant--stocking up on soft food, and I have four days off work counting the weekend. I kinda wanted to catch the Québec LM this weekend, and back when the appointment was for Tuesday that might've been halfway feasible, but a twelve-hour drive after only two days recovery time just screams Bad Idea. (Which is a pity, because I don't know if I'm going to have another free weekend between now and Paris, and that would've been a hell of a way to brush up on my French.)
