My laptop lives.
Last night I got so fed up with my malfunctioning laptop that I just wiped everything and installed Red Hat Linux.
It works.
Mostly.
[except that the audio needs configuration the firewall needs fine-tuning i haven't tested out the internet connections yet i need to get x skins and the eraserhead mouse doesn't work]
Aaah... my work is cut out for me. *rubs hands together* Minor things, minor things, so fun to play with. I'm also *crosses fingers* going to get my learner's permit on Thursday.
