How does he wave the flag with wrists that limp?
For a long time I thought that Julien Combey, of Paris revival recording fame, was the absolute fruitiest, gayest-sounding Enjolras ever to swish across the Les Mis stage. But, having recently acquired the Berlin soundboard recording, I have to say that Martin Pasching gives him a run for his money. And so, I present you with auditory aids and ask you, the friendslist, to decide.
Berlin cast [Martin Pasching] - ABC Café / Red and Black
Paris cast [Julien Combey ] - ABC Café / Red and Black [two separate files]
[Poll #795752]
[do I really need an "all in good fun" disclaimer? stereotypes are bad, children, except when there are flaming rebels involved. then it's entertaining.]

Um. Yeah. Sorry. I just randomly found your journal, and we seem to have some things in common. Do you mind if I add you?
(Also, you really should listen to the Duisburg Cast, if you haven't already. Actually, Martin Berger is my favourite Enjolras, even though I love Martin Pasching, too.
Hope you don't mind the random comment -

The Berlin recording is terribly rare, as it was only sold in the theater while the show was running, but it's an excellent recording--one of the best Fantines I've ever heard, for example. Only reason I could get it was by trading around, but if you want it I'd be happy to upload it.
I love the Duisburg recording, even though the German lyrics are... special. Heh.

Ah well, I knew the German version long before any other, so I'm used to the lyrics *g*

Would you mind uploading the Berlin soundboard, please? I'd be eternally grateful. :)
