I bought the Lino Ventura Les Mis miniseries off ebay.  Let's hope I can get some decent region-killing software, as the DVD is European and thus region 2.

Region-killing software, however, would not help with the VHS video of the Israeli production that's also up on ebay, as it's PAL.  It's so shiny though. I'm so tempted to buy it and see if I can get it converted to DVD.

I have a voice teacher!  She's excellent and actually gives me considerable constructive criticism on my singing, which is wonderful.  She's also informed me that I'm probably not a mezzo, but a soprano with a rich midrange.  Whodathunkit.

I should get a job.  And sign up for classes and stuff. God, I'm lazy.

You know, writing fic shouldn't be so hard for me.  Maybe I'm more of a meta person than a fic person after all, but it's something I wish I could do better.

Hey, do you have WinDVD on your computer? That allows you to switch regions, but I think you can only do it three times. You can cheat this by uninstalling then reinstalling it, I think...

I have region blocking software which works spiffily; it's called DVD Region+CSS Free. Shouldn't be too hard to find a cracked version on download.com or the like.

Try getting that software I recommended -- works wonders for me. Basically what it does is that it hides the region on the DVD from the player so that everything looks like region 0.
