Clusters of crocus

As requested, pictures of the flowers in the yard.

It's actually quite cold out, so near the end my hands were frozen and clumsy and I kept getting really blurry shots. I couldn't get any good ones of the Japanese maple or of the "snow effect" of the cherry petals on the ground, but this is a pretty good sampling of the view out my bedroom windows. The cherry tree is at the end of its bloom, by the way; it looked even more spectacular three or four days ago.

Cherry tree:

Close-up of the blossoms:

Grape hyacinth:

Blurry shot of the crabapple tree in the backyard, which is what has all the buds:

Forsythia:

Pink camellias + forsythia:

More pink camellias, with fallen petals from the red ones in the background:

One of the red camellias:

Striped camellia!

Fallen camellia petals on the ground:

A random ivy-covered tree:

And, bonus! The sunset view out the back windows:

Obviously I liked the camellias a lot, but they were the easiest to get pictures of. And they're really cool! They bloom in January, ferchrissakes, how is that not awesome?

:Wow: Your yard is absolutely beautiful. I love the striped camellia.

Sorry for the unrelated comment, but would you happen to know what's going on with Lulu? The ambiguity of her last post has me concerned.
