I think I like this place.
Ways I have made friends at Smith:
- Wearing ThinkGeek t-shirts.
- Wearing outrageous steampunk ensembles.
- Watching Torchwood with a bunch of Who geeks, one of whom has a Tardis painted on her door.
- Talking smack about Simon's Rock.
- Talking smack about the Phantom of the Opera fandom.
- Striking up conversations with people wearing "I ship Holmes/Watson" t-shirts.
And, the number one way:
- Carrying around a copy of Lost Illusions and using that as a springboard to talk about this awesome fanfiction I read once wherein minor Balzac characters met minor Hugo characters at the barricades in 1832.
