Courfeyrac cat strikes again.

Cat sauntered up to my desk looking like she wanted snuggles. Since she doesn't understand that claws =/= love, I have nothing but a thin skirt covering my lap, and when she wants snuggles she will STOP AT NOTHING to get them, I slung her over my shoulder and made to dump her outside the room and close the door.

But Courfeyrac cat was very, very intent on snuggles. So much so that she stood on my shoulder, draped her front paws down my back, and commenced ecstatically nuzzling my hair. This was followed by five minutes of me laughing hysterically as she climbed all over me like a five-year-old on a playground.

I really didn't have the heart to kick her out after that. She's curled up in my lap right now with an expression of perfect feline happiness on her face.

Spoiled creature. ♥

Awwwww! I love how insistent cats can be when it comes to affection -- they may be independent generally, but when they want love, they demand it! And Courfeycat sounds like the sweetest thing ever (saw the pictures on Abaisse -- she *is* the sweetest thing.).

I'm laughing because I can *so* see Courfeyrac - human doing the equivalent of this. Say, with Margeurite's Enjolras as the target, but possibly with any of his friends. Or deciding he wants snuggles from one of his girls. He would so do the equivalent of purring.
