Yep, and Enjolras is so firm and persuasive in his beliefs that if he thinks of himself as a man, Combeferre has to do a lot of mental work to think of him as "she," at least while Enjolras is present. Passing through sheer force of conviction (to the point of making Combeferre ignore BOOBS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE) might be a tad unrealistic fantasy, but if anyone can get away with it, it's a walking Hugolian allegory like Enjolras.
