More driving today, this time on the interstate. I've discovered that my one-track mind is coming back to bite me in the ass while I drive, which results in problems like taking my foot off the gas when I change lanes. I simply can't concentrate on accelerating/maintaining speed, staying in lane before I change, and checking to make sure I'm not cutting anyone off, all at the same time--eventually I just focused on acceleration and turning and got my dad to tell me how good my distance was, which worked a lot better anyway because my depth perception is crap. It's definitely a problem, though, and I'll have to work on it.
Anyway, after I drove my dad took me out in the Corvette, which is about the second time I've been in it since the fit of insanity a few months ago that induced him to buy it. I'm not allowed to touch the controls, of course--he jokes that even he can barely handle it, and he sure as hell isn't going to to teach me stick on a 'Vette. We went up to Baltimore for no apparent reason and drove around, wandered around that tourist-trap mall on the harbor, and went back. Somewhere along the line my CD player died, which is unsurprising as it's almost five years old, but by the time we got to a mall with an electronics place everything was already closed. Frustrating. I did get a big notebook, though, so I can get some writing and drawing done at school.
You know you've been on LiveJournal too long when you get a big notebook just for creative spewings, and have the ridiculous urge to doodle one of those cool friends-only graphics on the first page.

They could lose the Hooters, though.
