Went to the Kennedy Center to see a performance of the Verdi Requiem, by a chorus I've actually performed with before. The actual chorus was great. The soloists, on the other hand... *runs and hides* Dude, they sounded like opera singers. And the solos were way. too. long. And it took me a few minutes to get over the disorientation of watching the stage instead of being onstage, because my chorus has performed in that very hall twice. SO weird. Anyway, it was pretty cool despite the endless solos, especially during Dies Irae and towards the end when it got loud.

By the way, the school computers suck big time. The only working browser is Netscape 4.79, which can't handle LJ's new format at all. I just thought I'd reiterate this
