Hmmm... I've just discovered that not only do most people not see colors with their music, there's an actual name for it. So apparently I have synesthesia.
I have to wonder if someone in Rammstein isn't synesthetic as well, because the Sonne video has some striking similarities to what I see when I listen--quite difficult to describe, but the colors and the underground thing (although I didn't picture a mine shaft) resonate nicely with my vision. It's almost like my current layout in terms of color scheme, the yellows and oranges against black, but the balance is a little different and... oh, it's difficult to describe. And the Mutter album art is that same murky green as the song Mutter itself.
Ich Will is pretty though, with muted blues and purples sort of pulsing against a black background. And the Wilder Wein studio version is so radically opposite the Live aus Berlin version--studio is like this almost, while live it's more like this or this.
Fun stuff.
