Oh god. This whole time-and-organizing thing is going to become a nightmare, isn't it? Perhaps I should list it off to make it more manageable.
Immediate Future
-Finish packing, dumbass, school starts on Monday and you have to drive up tomorrow
-Call IBM about fixing laptop or getting a replacement
-Call MVA about a replacement front license plate, as the original was knocked off in a fender-bender
-Drag mom up to the Black Cat tonight for permission to get into Right 'Round
-Alternatively, if she's not up to it, retrieve badly-faked school ID and pray to be let in
At School
-Arabic, chorus, creative writing, history of the English language, seminar, vocal performance
-Voice and violin lessons
-Audition for that opera being put on this fall, the one that needs lots of soubrettes
-Get a job, hopefully
-Go to the goddamn gym more often
Sometime This Semester
-Take the SATs
-Apply to various music schools--currently have a list of 10-13 possibilities
-Apply to Reed as backup if all the conservatories hate me
-Apply for a Canadian study permit, visa, and all that jazz if I get accepted into a Canadian school
-Get extra voice training
See, now it doesn't look so bad when it's all laid out like that. Tis far more overwhelming when you're going through all these schools' web sites and trying to keep track of all the audition requirements and admissions deadlines and such, or have your father breathing down your back and ranting ominously about all the things that could happen if you don't resolve the car and computer situations soon. And on top of that, I'm running out of money, spending upwards of $45 on a tank of gas, and I have to drive up to friggin' Massachusetts. With about $30 cash and $20 in my bank account. Oh, happy day.
Still want a rename token, but I'm not doing nuffin' until the money's worked out. In the meantime, if anyone wants to give me a back-to-school gift... *cough* Be much obliged.
