Inspired no doubt by my teacher's mention that we're going to be reading Julius Caesar as soon as we're done with Lord of the Flies, I started randomly looking for Shakespeare slash on LJ. And what did I find but entire communities devoted to rare bookslash and historical fiction slash. Just think of the possibilities! Odysseus/Achilles! Plato/Socrates (omgtheirloveissoplatonic)! Romeo/Mercutio! Rosencrantz/Guildenstern! Mozart/Salieri (feel the Amadeus love/hate)! Oscar/Bosie (canon couple)! Caesar/Brutus/Antony!
