Kandy!
Braved the ninety-degree heat and potentially lethal D.C. ozone levels to go to the mall yesterday. Yes, this is how desperate I am to get out of the house. And I didn't buy anything except a Fight Club poster and a large amount of taffy and jelly beans. I must have looked like a tripped-out raver, frantically searching around the [way-too-small] techno-slash-industrial-slash-goth-all-crammed-into-one music section of Hot Topic with my blue hair and my kandy... haha. I hate that store, the only thing it's good for is Matrix merchandise and the occasional Metropolis compilation, but if you really dig around you can find some decent stuff.
The air quality here is now so bad that the public buses are letting everyone ride free. There's this perpetual August-like haze over everything, and walking outside is like walking into a very humid oven. I hate this place... I need to get ouuuutt... Seattle... San Francisco... anywhere.... *dies*
