I just... baked a cake. Without setting any fires (so far) or getting too many eggshell fragments in the batter. Eh, they all got pulverized when I put it through the mixer anyway XD It was just a cake mix, but shh, I want to feel accomplished. And earlier I also made pasta without any disasters whatsoever. Hell, I might even survive on actual cooked food at college instead of chips and candy.

I've been feeling a little down in the dumps lately, so I intend to fix that by writing large quantities of feel-good smut. Which I will actually finish and post to the6. *has fingers crossed behind back* No, really. I will. Seriously.

Someday I want to to buy some cake mix and just eat it right out of the bag instead of baking it.

I like the batter, once all the ingredients have been mixed in. I always steal some when my mom's baking the cake when she's not looking. I'm sneaky that way.

And also, you can survive in college on canned soup, cereal, frozen dinners, and ramen noodles. It's sort of cooked...as long as you have a microwave and fridge.
