Did pretty well at the talent show. Sang "Think of Me" in celebration of my newly rejuvenated soprano range. I sounded great warming up, but when I got on stage I tensed up and lost a whole bunch of vibrancy--still sounded decent, but I really could've done better. Still, for some reason people have been ambushing me for the past four days to tell me how well I did... easily impressed? Or maybe I need to stop comparing myself to the professional Christines on all the soundtracks and bootlegs I have lying around. In any case, every time that's happened I wanted to melt into the floor from embarrassment.

No other big news... Hershey Park was fun, although the long lines were hellish. We really need to schedule these trips for weekdays so there won't be so many crowds.

Speaking of trips, my breaks from Simon's Rock are at really odd times of the year, which means if we go on vacation over a break we can get off-peak fares to Europe. *boogies*

I find it annoying to be told how well I sung something or performed something... you sometimes feel like they are just saying that. In a way it's not helpful, you sometimes want someone to tell you "you were a bit flat" or "you went out of key at a certain point" just so you know what to improve on!

I completely understand.
