My Amazon wishlist... gee, wonder what I'm obsessed with? In approximate order of how badly I want them.

--Robert Englund Phantom soundtrack
--Yeston/Kopit Phantom soundtrack
--RE Phantom on DVD
--Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera
--Le Fantôme de l'Opéra, in original French
--1999 ALW Phantom Japanese recording (... at $45? fat chance. damn imports.)
--Cabaret (HELP! Should I get the original cast, revival cast, or movie soundtrack? *knows nothing about any of them*)
--Reise Reise (Have pirated version. Getting a legal copy is important but not urgent.)
--Dario Argento Phantom. Possibly. (Shoot me, I'm curious.)

Note that I am not in any way begging the credit-card-endowed souls on my friendslist for these items, nor am I dropping subtle hints about Christmas presents. Nuh-uh. Not me.

Oh, mein liebling! I highly recommend the Cabaret revival cast recording, with Alan Cumming. That's the one I "grew up on," so it's the one I love most :-P

And as for Dario Agento's Phantom...yeah. I want to see it too. I know I shouldn't, but I HAVE to find out...

I also have the revival cast of Cabaret with Alan Cumming and Natasha Richardson. It's very very good. I could just burn it for you if you want and then you can ask for the Original Cast because that should have Liza Minelli and Joel Gray right?? Man, I love Cabaret. . . .
