WTF, seriously. How did this happen.
Guess what, guys? Some cosmetics companies think it's a really good idea to put peanut and nut oils in makeup!
I think I can safely say I am the only person I know who has ever gone into anaphylaxis from lipstick.
On the plus side, I looked fucking badass before I broke out in hives and couldn't breathe. We were going to do a test-run of our Halloween costumes by wearing them to the local goth night, I was going as Mrs Lovett, and I was the spitting goddamn image of HBC as movie!Lovett. Also, the nearest hospital's ER staff are really awesome. And this explains my mystery!anaphylaxis back in February--which also happened while I was all dolled up to go out, and that's pretty much the only time I wear lipstick.
On the doubleplusungood side, what do you get when you hang out in a place with lots of sick people when your immune system is depressed from antihistamines? That's right, the flu.
So basically, I am not fucking participating in this round of fandom drama, I managed to put my foot in it the one time I did post, and now I have better things to do. Such as sitting here like a zombie consuming endless quantities of chicken soup while watching Les Mis bootlegs.
