Attempt to sleep

If it works, I should sink into blissful oblivion around 3am and have some cracked-out dreams.  If it doesn't, I'll be hyper and trippy all night and will probably chew my fingernails off over the election.

Looks like we might well have four more years of this asshole.  Which is even scarier than the past four years because he doesn't have to worry about public image or making himself re-electable, so he's to pursue the most batshit insane extreme right wing policies he can dream up.  What fun.

Goddamn, you're right. I hope that everyone who voted for him wholeheartedly regrets it by the time his term is over, but with all this half-baked "My country wrong or right" rhetoric (c.f. logan1's post at the Realm-- GAH), it seems at least half the nation's going to follow him joyfully over the cliff.
