Ever heard of Crystalwank? If you haven't, stay away from it with a ten-foot pole unless you enjoy trainwrecky poking at the UTTERLY BATSHIT INSANE.

Anyway, to make a long story short, some crazy photomanipper claimed she had a picture of Dominic Monaghan sitting on her bed. The photo she provided looked completely and utterly fake, leading to an offhand comment about "the 'my hed iz pastede on yay!' effect." It just sort of grew from there.
