Weeee, have temporary fix to 'net problem, and will soon have permanent fix. Finished a niggling ficlet and sent it off to beta, and created an extremely trashy [and slashy] desktop wallpaper with concept shamelessly gakked from the 'My Fandom Says They Aren't Gay' icon. Only with a lot more photographic evidence to the contrary, and in 1280x1024 resolution. o_O.
Have started thinking about Halloween. After I pestered her for an hour about costumes, Mom told me to just go as the scariest thing I could think of--and subsequently had to veto Freddy Krueger, a hanged man, and an SS officer because they were all 'too offensive;' a camp friend I was talking to on AIM told me not to do any of them because they 'weren't scary enough.' Generation gap, anyone?
Actually, I personally think having an SS officer bang on your door and demand candy from you would be positively terrifying.
