Ahahaha. My mom is abjectly terrified by Voltaire--the musician, not the author. I suppose there are only two possible reactions to a dude with a string quartet singing about necrophilia and decapitation at 180bps: "kickass!" or plain old abject terror. Okay, I could've introduced her with better songs than "Dead Girls" or "The Headless Waltz," but still.

Also, I learned how to parallel park today. These two things are not related in any way.

Damn, I had to learn to parallel park on a hill in front of my sister and her friends! The pluse side to this is that I can parallel park just about anywhere now!

My favourite is "When You're Evil."

For obvious reasons.

Funny, my mom likes him. Well "tolerates him," which is good enough for me. Try one of the "Banned on Vulcan" songs for mom...then again...never mind. How could such a sweety scare anyone?

Your mom is as cool as she is, and yet she's afraid of Voltaire? o_O

She should meet him. He's a complete sweetheart. And she should also listen to "Anniversary." As should you. Because it's the prettiest song ever.
