Oy. Well, that was interesting--went into total lj-withdrawal.
Let's see, what's happened since my lastspammage update? Got a tape player. Had forgotten how much I love analog; it just has a feeling to it that can't be replicated on cd or mp3.
Went back to Simon's Rock. Drove this time, since I had a shitload of stuff I wanted to bring back and checking a tv/vcr combo at airport security is not exactly practical. Dad came up with me; we split the driving and managed to make it in about 7 hours, although it would've been more like 6 if we hadn't gotten lost somewhere along Rt. 23. 400 miles in 6 hours... yes, we are both speed demons.
The nice thing about this semester is that I'm going to have a car. So I can go into town and do errands, like getting D-rings for the bondage pants I'm making or cardboard to cover the windows because the blinds let in too much @#$%! light. Or buying, y'know, groceries. Gasp.
I am so totally wiped out right now. And my shift key is still only working intermittently, so I have to pound on it. argh.
