Womens' studies majors need to be banned from my history class. Right now.

We are supposed to be studying the United States as an imperial power and the history of American foreign policy. The discussion of the relationship between sex, gender, and sexuality is, I'm sure, utterly fascinating to you, and I'm glad your tiny brains have grasped the idea that gender is fluid and independent of sexuality, but it has absolutely fuck-all to do with manifest destiny. Do not give me bullshit about how 19th century America considered its conquests to be 'weak,' 'feminine,' and therefore deserving of invasion, because while it's quite possible in an abstract sort of way, it's entirely irrelevant.

No, I do not give a toss about gender studies. Yes, there are vaguely genderqueer transguys out there who don't get horribly offended by the idea that gender is not the be-all end-all reason for every conflict that has ever existed; however, we do get very offended at vague insinuations that by not caring and/or wishing to stay on topic instead of dragging feminism into every unrelated subject, we are overcompensating for a perceived lack of masculinity by becoming male chauvinist pigs. We are also darkly amused by the fact that you refer to us as 'girls taking hormones,' and then break out the 'you're a guy, you wouldn't understand' line bare minutes later.

Oh, and Mr. Professor? Stop encouraging them, dammit.

DUDE. People love to do that shit - they don't understand the topic at hand, so they'll throw in some irrelevant stuff to make it sound impressive.

Our new (elect) secretary of state excels at that.

Yes, that breed of feminist is annoying. One girl in seventh grade or so threw a bitchfit because our medieval Europe curriculum didn't cover female knights.

Um. Okay. There were like, two female knights ever (Joan of Arc doesn't count), and chances are they were just as boorish, smelly, and unhygienic as the other knights of the time. Not much could be learnt there.

Bahaha. Well, there were probably quite a few, only they were never found out because they did such a good job being boorish, smelly, unhygienic, and generally the sort of person who would give annoying feminists nightmares.

Of course, socks would have helped too. >/Pratchett-dork<

*facepalm* Er, that was supposed to read </Pratchett-dork>. Stupid me, getting my code doodads wrong again.

Ugh. That sounds so incredibly annoying.

...wishing to stay on topic instead of dragging feminism into every unrelated subject...

I absolutely hate that! Not only in class, but also in debates on tv/radio/online. And it doesn't have to stop with feminism. I can't stand it when people fall back into their safe zone in every discussion by arguing about something completely unrelated to the topic.

God I love you...

It's my 5th Period History Class all over again, I hate it. Drives me nuts. Feminism is all well and good, sure, but not in my fucking History class.

I want to know what went on, not why bra-burning feminists think it happned.

... Yes, simply, I agree.
