Oh wonderful. It's supposed to go down to -11 tonight and we're going to get a blizzard and another foot of snow over the weekend. Just lovely.
I'm going into town and getting some gloveliners, a hat, and a scarf. Because, dude. I'm from Washington DC. Our winter is 20-40 degree weather and intermittent sleet and freezing rain. We haven't seen more than a foot of snow on the ground since 1996. Zen of New England and all, but I'll be damned if I'm not going to dress up nice and warm.

Layers are your friend. When I would go out in the weather (::cough:: last week) that was cold like that, I would wear my spandex pants (you laugh, but they are warm and they don't let ANY air through) and two pairs of socks, long sleeved shirt, hoodie, and coat over the hoodie. Stocking cap, gloves, and a scarf tied around my neck. And then I would race into class and be all sweaty, but at least I'd be warm.
You wouldn't believe the idiots around here! There were guys walking around while it was 0 degrees outside with t-shirts and shorts on! I was like, "Do you WANT to get pnumonia? Do you WANT hypothermia? Or are you just looking for a good reason not to go to class?"
