My friends, I have been stuck between a rock and a hard place since, oh, May or so. You see, I'd had the sixth Harry Potter book pre-ordered pretty much ever since the release date was announced, but at the end of the school year I realized I didn't have enough in my bank account to buy the book and pay a speeding ticket. So Harry fought the law, the law won, and I cancelled my order in great misery.

But lo: a savior! For in straightening up my room today, I stumbled upon the answer to all my woes: a Barnes and Noble gift card with $30 left on it.

And there was much rejoicing.

Mmmhmm. I'm in the middle of rereading OotP, since I've only read it three times or so and forget half of what went on, bad HP fan that I am. After knocking out 300 pages in a couple hours, I decided to cut it out or I won't have anything to read on my seven-hour plane ride on Monday, heh.
