Well helLO there.

Went out to dinner with a friend of dad's who lives here. She showed us, among other things, the half-price ticket booth, the upshot of which is that I have a fairly decent seat for Les Miserables tomorrow night. w00t. And JOJ is Valjean. Double w00t.

Also, apparently I am not going to the Electric Ballroom on Friday, because guess what's on Friday? That's right, the Waterstones Harry Potter party on Oxford Street, which is like.. a block from the hotel. Dude. DUDE. The day after tomorrow I'm going to be going to the release party for Half-Blood Prince. It still hasn't really sunk in.

Overall, this London experience has been a bit... well, strange. I like it. A lot. But I was expecting to fall head over heels in love with it, which hasn't completely happened yet, so I feel disappointed, and I know I shouldn't because London is awesome. Oh hell, I should just relax and enjoy it...

You're sure it's good, right? Cause my family did the exact same thing last summer... the guy at the booth swore the seats were good... we ended up sitting in the last row of the second balconey. They had binoculars for us to use in order to see the actors. So yeah, make sure they're actually good... heh.

And JOJ is Valjean.

Lucky! The guys I saw was awful. He couldn't sing. I have no idea how he got the role.

No, this is front/middle of the second balcony, I think. Not much better, but hey, I'm there, right? Not bad for twenty quid. Should I bring the binoculars, or do they provide them?

They provide them, but you have to pay 50 pence or something in order to use them... so it depends if you want to pay or not. Heh. I didn't use them and got used to it, but it would have been nice to be able to, you know, make out their faces.

I haven't either, but I have oodles of bootlegs of him in Phantom. I can send them to you or put them on my webspace if you want.
