I hate my digital camera, principally because there's no practical way to get the pictures from the camera onto my computer. I have to give it to my mother, whose laptop has the necessary hardware, and she then crops and resizes them and emails them to me. Not fun, especially when she's out of the house and I've just taken a shitload of pictures and have no way to upload them.

But, I drove up to the grocery store last night. Drove. Without knocking over anyone's trash cans or running down any pedestrians. And as a side effect of this, we now have lots and lots of food. Yummmm. I also got my hair cut, which is why I took all those pictures. That, and I finally figured out the auto-timer function of the camera. w00t.

You know, being so severely allergic to milk and all, there's not a lot I can eat in the way of cookies. So naturally when I found a huge box of oatmeal raisin ones in Safeway with no milk products listed in the ingredients, I was overjoyed, bought them...

I ate half of one tonight. My throat and mouth immediately started itching and swelling to the point where I couldn't have finished it if I wanted to. It was quite obviously an allergic reaction.

Folks, this is why we have ingredient lists, and this is why ingredient lists need to be accurate. The fucking wankers lied on their ingredient list, and if I hadn't been smart enough to throw mine out after two bites, I could be in the hospital right now and suing them for the fees.

The funny thing is that exactly one year and 21 days ago the same thing happened with some stupid sugar wafers. How do I know? Because it happened on the same night as my first kiss, and I have the whole thing written down in my DeadJournal. How weird.
