(no subject)

Well, at least one good thing has come from having a broken computer: I am reading a lot more. Voraciously, one might say. It's still a rereading spree--I've torn my way through Good Omens and Snow Crash and I'm starting Interview with the Vampire--but squee for reading anyway.

Also, no good can come of reading Good Omens and Snow Crash in quick succession.

"No good" being defined as a mental debate over who would win in a fight between, say, Crowley and Raven. It's like a schoolyard argument over whether Batman could kick Spiderman's ass, only dorkier. And more likely to lead to disturbing slash pairings.

In other news, I've been job-hunting. Not very successfully, might I add. It looks like my prospects are the drugstore, the hardware store, and possibly the grocery store or the college bookstore. Ew. Well, the bookstore wouldn't be too bad, but it wouldn't be very much money either, and I'm going to have to wrangle about my age. =P

And realmies? Why is it that whenever I come onto the Realm these days I get the near-irrepressible urge to snap at people? Has the stupid gone up, or what? Well, that's a stupid question. I think the question is, has the stupid gone up quadratically or exponentially?
