Spring Break is over. Woe.
Mar. 24th, 2009 13:19Party on Saturday was fun! We may or may not be the first people to play the TAC drinking game with real alcohol. And there were silly costume dramas and sangria and driving all over DC looking for a place that sold absinthe--no, not in that order. And there was much fangirling and exchanging of squee.
However, I should've gone easier on the absinthe because I wound up on a 9:30 train back to school with my first-ever full-fledged hangover. Or, well, hangover-induced motion sickness fading seamlessly into time-of-the-month ickiness. So not fun, and then my train got delayed for two hours on the tracks and I missed my transfer in New Haven and didn't get back to Northampton until about 8:30pm. Ughhhh.
And then this week is hella busy. ConBust is this weekend (yes, Smith has its own con; yes, be jealous), as is the chorus concert and all the attendant extra rehearsals, and there are essays and extra homework and room draw and possibly a Patrick O'Brian party if we can fit it in around ConBust. And so of course, instead of doing all my math homework or studying the music I'm supposed to be studying, I'm sitting here frittering away my time on the interwebs and pondering whether to do errands or mess around on the out-of-tune piano in the living room.
...also, since I literally did not pack any clothes besides t-shirts for break, I am enjoying being back here with a closet full of skirts and dresses and blouses. And by "enjoying," I mean I'm probably not going to wear trousers at all this week unless they're accompanied by waistcoat, cravat, and top hat.
