Oh hey, David Thaxton is staying on as Enjolras in the London production! Will have to spend a weekend or six in London this fall to see that. Actually my luck is uncanny; all the U.S. Les Mis regionals seem to be happening this summer while I'm in the States, and all the European regionals are happening in the fall/winter/spring when I'll be in France. I'm waiting for karma to bite me in the ass and for Aaron Lazar to announce he's playing Enjolras in Boston right in the middle of my exams or something, because that really would be fair (if agonizing) retribution for getting to see Thaxton, two French-language productions, and LM-in-Paris-on-Barricade-Day. There's also a production going on in Copenhagen, and Norway will probably be on their twelfth regional version by then, but I am wary of traveling alone to any place where I can't read the street signs. *g*

Also, last.fm keeps telling me if the band I'm currently listening to is on tour, and a bunch of fairly awesome goth bands have upcoming shows in Germany this fall. My visa will probably expire before Wave-Gotik-Treffen, but isolated concerts are still an excuse to go to Germany and besdies, if I want a big festival there's always Whitby.

So basically I will have excuses for all the European tourism I plan on doing. Yay!

....this post is also a reminder of why I need to NOT SPEND ALL MY MONEY THIS SUMMER.

(Also, my big computer is fixed and waiting for me at home and I can't wait to get it back this weekend because I've been having the urge to make icons. And my little netbook does not have Photoshop.)
