tenlittlebullets: (rue de la chanvrerie)
I fly to Paris at 5:30 tomorrow evening. Somebody hold me.

Things I still need to do:
- Sort out documents--distribute copies of passport and visa to the appropriate suitcases, etc
- Gather together mini-pharmacy of prescriptions and OTC painkillers/decongestants/etc
- Put a big ol' spool of black thread in my sewing kit
- Put freshly-pirated music on mp3 player
- Measure and re-measure carry-on suitcase in a fit of paranoia, as it's just barely under the maximum size
- Pack said carry-on suitcase with my big computer (finally back and in working order, btw), other electronics, some miscellaneous clothing and belts, cookies for my host family, mini-pharmacy, and... I think that's it really
- Pack backpack with mini-computer, purse, relevant documents, mp3 player, and some books and snacks for the flight
- Clean up behind my miserably messy self so my mom doesn't have to do it

Okay. I can do this.

...I'm pretty sure I'm bringing less than ten books with me. Woe and alas. My arms will thank me but my brain will not, and what is the body for but to serve the mind? Weight restrictions on baggage being what they are, however... *sigh* I'll just have to buy some more once I get there.
