... last night I had a dream where I kissed a guy.
I think it's time to start beating my subconscious with a baseball bat.
Ten seconds after that, though, it turned into the old chased-by-some-unknown-menace dream that I've been having since I was eight years old. And later on I saw the boy's dead body on a carnival fairground and wasn't particularly sorry. I don't know why my dream-self did it--it wasn't like I found him attractive or anything. Hm.
I also saw the movie version of Interview with the Vampire last night, and I have to say the book was so much better. Stupid pretty boy actors conk out and turn wooden during the most emotional scenes [particularly the one where Madeleine was made a vampire], no one looked like they were supposed to, and what the hell was up with the squishing sound whenever they went for the neck? Besides nitpicks like that, it just didn't pack the emotional wallop the book did. Blah.
Not to mention at least three scenes--two Louis/Lestat, one Louis/Armand--that should've been so much more slashy than they were. Sure, there was subtext, but it was obvious the director didn't want to have any OMG gae vampyr boiz!!!!111one!! *grumbles* If you can have six-year-old (?) Kirsten Dunst kiss Brad Pitt, why can't Tom Cruise just swallow his goddamned pride and do it too? Yes, I know Louis has a lot of romantic tension with Claudia, but there's an equal amount of sexual tension between him and Lestat. Suck it up and show it.

Oh, by the way--it may be an acquired taste, I might have hated it first time I listened... but Skinny Puppy is extremely addictive. *nod*

But the books are a lot better than the movie. The only reason they toned the slashyness down is because its made by Americans. Pretty much everyone I know likes the books better than the movie. But at least you got to see Tom Cruise acting gay. Mwahahahah.
