Went out and saw V for Vendetta tonight, on a whim.

OMG. <3 So much love. It was like... plot! And moral ambiguity! And revolution! And dystopia! And things blowing up! What's not to love? *fangirls*

Must make icons now.

Not only explosions, but explosions set to music! *fangirly squee*

That was a fun movie.
It made me want to blow something up.

Glad you liked it and have joined the light side. It's not the darkside cause if the hope and uplifting feeling you should be feeling right now. When you make icons, post them, I'd like to see.

Share icons and I will love you forever.

Because really. Hugo Weaving in a GUY FAWKES MASK. In an APRON.

::totally snuck into V last weekend and almost got busted::

And today in my Chem class we watched a video that had iodine reactions set to the 1812 (we're learning reaction rates), and my teacher called it the William Tell. And then ignored me when I corrected him. Because he's useless.

YOUR ICON MATCHES MY FAVORITE T SHIRT.

::ahem::

I owned a shirt like that, once.

V is an awesome film. Even though I couldn't watch parts of it, especially the bit where they killed Stephen Fry (he played Deitrich). Also, there is nothing cooler than seeing a building you see almost every day on the news getting blown up to the 1812 overture :D.

Oh, I want to see that so badly! Was Roger Allam good in it?

[identity profile] 10littlebullets.livejournal.com 2006-03-28 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, yes, he was. And I had no idea it was him until I got back and started poking around the IMDb boards, at which point I went "*facepalm* I knew his voice sounded familiar..."

[identity profile] devils-child7.livejournal.com 2006-03-28 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe. He dies pretty early on, though, right? At least that's what my friend told me...

[identity profile] 10littlebullets.livejournal.com 2006-03-28 11:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Pretty early, yeah. But he does a wonderful impression of a right-wing pundit while he's onscreen. XD

[identity profile] devils-child7.livejournal.com 2006-03-28 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that just makes me want to see it even more! When does the movie actually take place, by the way?

[identity profile] 10littlebullets.livejournal.com 2006-03-28 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
At some unspecified point fifty-ish years into the future, I think.

Ah, OK; thanks. Apparently on imdb, it's #232 on the Top 250 movies of all time. Interesting.
