For anyone not yet familiar with the awesomeness that is Victor Wallace: here, have a video. Courtesy of the wonderful Mandy. (Randy Glass Matt Clemens as Grantaire also wins. A lot. And I totally couldn't tell which one of them it was, bad me.)

I am so amused at how much slower it is than in London. And the new Marius is dreadful, IMO.

Also, according to the bootlegger? That's Mike Clemens as Grantaire.

Blast, couldn't tell them apart. Knew it wasn't Trent, but for some reason was remembering Randy as having done interesting things with the newspaper. XD *goes to fix*

And yes. Yes, the new Marius is the suck. Especially on the heels of Adam Jacobs.

Damn it, I am going to end up spending way too much time watching this overandoverandover.

Randy *is* an awesome Grantaire, but this was nice for seeing a new not-seen-by-me-before R.

I actually like this Marius better than Adam Jacobs. I seem to be in the minority on that, though.

Matt Clemens, sorry. ;-)

Dan Bogart is hysterical, only because I've seen him before. He can't help his sucky hair. But I guess he can help his funny faces.

I never liked Adam that much. I hope I can see Dan...

I liked Adam, but only because he was so cute and dorky. The nasalness of his voice irritated me a bit, but he made up for it by being such a dolt in AHFOL. In a good way.

He was so cute, but I thought he was the stupidest Marius I'd ever seen next to Peter Lockyer... ;-) Then again, he was better than Josh Young, at least! (Even if he was like the long-lost fraternal twin.)

AHHH see I wrote that first and then I checked what the taper said and she had it down as Mike. Should have gone with the gut instinct ^_^

He reminds me so much of Gary Tushaw. And that? Is not a good thing.

[identity profile] alligatorandme.livejournal.com 2006-05-13 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
LOL! Oh, noooo. I never saw Tushaw (have never been to the UK, sadly), but I've, er, read what others have said about him. ;-)

I've seen that before, but now I have to ask, what's the big deal with Victor Wallace? I've heard great things about him, but I don't see what all the hooplah is about. But maybe I'll just have to see him in person. ;-)

(Also, I miss Michael Halling and that's not Vic's fault.)

It's just... hmmm, something about the combination of gorgeous voice, gorgeous looks, and loads of charisma--you don't get that much of it in the video, but he's just really neat to see on stage.

Also, he grew on me. Was pleased but not knocked flat the first time I saw him, and then I gradually grew into a screaming fangirl. XD

Seconded. (Plus the "Red! The blood... Black!!!! The dark..." thing he does bugs the hell out of me.)
