There are many ideas for Long, Long Fanfictions chasing about in my head. Most of which will never get written, so I present them here for your entertainment.

- "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables" is something of a question without an answer in the musical. What was their sacrifice for? Marius gradually finds an answer, involving Dreams of Doom Symbolism and possible DRPF. Eep.

- Our Amis, upon dying, re-materialize in their interpretation of heaven. Which happens to be the exact same location, about forty-five years before they snuffed it. Will some of them get elected to the Estates-General and/or the National Convention? Will Enjolras and Grantaire's deathbed reconciliation last long? Will E! feel terribly guilty about any slash that might ensue now he's placed beside the living, breathing model of Incorruptibility? Will there be schisms and drama and politics and decapitation aplenty? Well, what do you think?

- A series of AU occurrences lead to Eponine seducing a drunken Marius. And that's just the beginning. Eppie turns up pregnant, Thénardier finds out who the father is and forces Marius to marry her, Marius is still mooning over Ursula and neglecting his wife (and his money), Eponine is forced to accept charity from Valjean and Cosette, and all is soap-opera-ish. Yep.

- Barricade survival AU of sorts. Involves a very gay Combeferre in love with Enjolras; a technically female Enjolras with Gender Issues aplenty; a wounded Courfeyrac swearing revenge on the bastard who stabbed him; defecting National Guardsmen; a budding dictator!Enjolras; and other fun things. Basically the AU where I stick all my really cracked-out ideas.

My 'Ferre is always gay. In my main ficverse he has at least one sulking ex-mistress who left him because he'd rather talk botany at her than kiss her, and he's used it as an excuse to be insufferably cute with Courfeyrac on more than one occasion. It's just his bad luck that in this AU he wound up crushing on a tranny Enjolras. XD
