80s!LM SQUEE.
Ahem. My copy of the LM miniseries with Lino Ventura finally arrived. After spending several hours hunting for a region-killing software that wouldn't crap out after fifteen minutes, I finally managed to play it and homg, it combines the gorgeous design of the 2000 miniseries with the exacting detail of the '50s version.
But that's not what this post is about.
This post is pure unadulterated squee, because the Amis in this miniseries are the cutest thing ever. They're so hyperactive! And there is so much subtext. I totally need to cap the scene in the back room where Courfeyrac starts teasing Marius about being in love, then grabs him and kisses him, to the hoots and whistles of the other Amis.
