I know it's technically September 12 by now, but I take a certain macabre satisfaction in my current music all the same.

Went into town today for some shopping therapy. $10 bought me ten yards of lace trim, a nice black straw hat, and some honest-to-god shoes. (I currently own three pairs of shoes, counting today's purchase, and nine pairs of boots. Aie.) I also picked up a few job applications in the hope of being able to fund future shopping therapy.

I wish my hair would grow faster. How am I supposed to look like a waifish gothic heroine with chin-length hair that flips up at the ends?

The lace was in big bags for $1 each at Bruce Variety, and the shoes and hat I got at the thrift store up by the farmer's market in Bethesda. I ♥ cheap thrills.
