*grins* Yay me, I slept till one o'clock. And, since it's Daylight Savings, by my internal clock I slept till two.
Why the slothfulness? Well, last night was homecoming. And, in a word, it sucked. I mean, it started out okay--the first ten minutes or so I spent saying hi to people, and after that my date and I just sort of settled down with a bunch of people we both knew. One girl I didn't know, who apparently came as friends with a guy in my programming class, seemed to think I was cute and insisted on dancing and having her picture taken with me, until Doug showed up and said loudly, "Wow, you look good in a suit! If I didn't know you I'd swear you were a boy!" At which point this girl shrieked, "You're a GIRL?" and I, who thought we'd been introduced and had no idea she thought I was a boy, promptly kicked Doug in the nuts and attempted to calm her down because she was still shrieking.
If Doug ever made it off my shit list, he's now back on it big time.
Anyway, she stayed for one more dance and then mysteriously disappeared, and the night went downhill from there. I'd forgotten that school dances and such don't mix with Asperger syndrome, and after forty-five minutes of strobe lights, shitty rap music, and conversations I couldn't involve myself in, I left the gym and hung out in the hallway. I'm so glad I'm leaving high school early, it gives me an excuse not to go to prom...
Also, I need a bigger hard drive. Was thinking of scanning and CGing some sketches, but then realised that I don't have any Photoshop-like program on this computer, nor do I have the disk space to install it. Also need space for The Sims, MP3s, videos... grrgh.
