Things about the revival that may be of general interest:

1. Boxes A and D--the ones at the very front which the actors enter and exit through--have such a limited view that they are priced the same as the cheap seats in the rear mezzanine. $35 most of the week, $65 on Friday and Saturday evenings.
2. After he leaves the revival, Aaron is apparently going to be doing a big concert in Israel and then "something in L.A."
3. Robert Hunt leaves next week. Awwww. (Does that make Drew first u/s for Javert after he leaves? I kind of want to see that, in the trainwreck syndrome sort of way.)
4. There should be a splash-zone warning for the front row. Christ, Alex, spit much?
5. Marya Grandy was on as Mme Thénardier in the evening show. She wasn't bad, but... god I'm going to miss Jenny.

Things that are probably only amusing to me and a couple friends:

1. We got a round of applause going for dead!dangling!Aaron on Saturday afternoon. Score.
2. Lea swore at Dan during Fantine's arrest. That amuses me more than it probably should.
3. Last week people recognized us at the stage door. This week Dan started teasing us about how many times we'd seen the show. I shudder to think what will happen next week. XD
4. I got Box B on Saturday night on literally two hours' notice. Very nice view.
5. Drew and Celia were both out. This makes me sad, because I wanted to ask Celia what she's doing after she leaves, and I also have the perverse desire to ask Drew if he reads fanfiction. (He totally does. >___>)

P.S. Happy belated April Fool's day. Admit it, how many of you were looking forward to Gerard Butler in a funny hat?

It's $30 more expensive on weekends? Yowza! In London the difference is £2.50. And even that is new.

Only the cheap seats. Front mezzanine and full-view orchestra are always $110, limited view orchestra is always $65. Boxes and rear mezzanine go from $65 to $80 on Friday and Saturday nights, and the front boxes and the last row of the mezzanine go from $35 to $65.

I should not know all this off the top of my head. Gah.

How much is $110 in real money? :-p LM here full price is £50. BB (glorious BB!!) is £22.50. Dress circle slips are £30. Add £2.50 for Saturday evenings.

According to hearsay you can get London tickets for £12.50; I shudder to think of how bad those are. BB is fine unless you're a shoe fetishist; the DC slips are AMAZING. You have to lean forward, yes, but you're so close, you see everything, there is a nice fuzzy banister to lean on, and there's no one behind you so you can lean all you want. Hey presto!

The reason Lea telling Dan to fuck himself is amusing is because it's Lea. She just looks so cute and innocent and is supposedly a good Catholic girl. And then she adlibs a word that cannot appear on broadcast television. If it had been Daphne, we wouldn't have laughed so much, and I wouldn't have phoned Leanna to tell her the "news" while waiting for the train.

It's rather like my icon - Autumn cracked us up even more than Gwen because Autumn was playing Beth, and one doesn't expect things like that to come out of Beth's mouth.
