You say I took the Name in vain, but I don't even know the Name...

Ah, so I finally find out what my karmic payback was for getting to see two understudy Cosettes in one day: I missed Nehal Joshi's Enjolras. By a single day.

Fuck.

Understudy karma is a weird thing. I missed Nehal (and Chip as Thénardier) in early March too, I assume as balance for getting to see Nikki and Haviland as Fantine. XD And somehow I've seen Megan McGinnis as Eponine four or five times, but never Marissa.

Note to universe: you still owe me one, you know, since that time Dan was on as Marius on Friday, I saw the show on Saturday, and Rob was on as Javert on Sunday. I'm still smarting from that.

Speaking of Rob, any word yet on who's replaced him?

I am scouring the interwebs to find out who the new Courfeyrac is! My heart tells me Tewks because I think it would be funny. ;-)

Somehow Aaron Paul popped into my head as a possibility - no idea if he's working, but I deserve to see Aaron again.

It's NOT Tewks, I'm sure - the same day Rob told me he was leaving, Chip told me he'd run into Tewks in some deli, thoroughly randomly. I wish it were Tewks, but this is the kind of news people would tell me.

Also, this past weekend, Chip gave me Trent updates :) He's happy, he's busy, he's not really answering calls *g*. Chip has become my connection to the outside world, I swear.

I feel like an idiot because I meant to ask last weekend and totally forgot.

I'm now officially old. The Javert understudy is younger than I am.

(I know, Amy's older than certain former Javert understudies. And a Javert. But still!)

Wow.. sorry, forgot to say, I kinda added you because you are kinda awesome on the Drew!Javert thing and because of *point* Nehal love. ^-^

I WANT TO SEE HIM AS ENJOLRAS.

I talked to him at the stage door on Thursday and he said something along the lines of "You'll have more chances to see me after the cast change, since Max is a little more delicate."

So amused.

(And I still can't get over him doing the chicken dance in Master of the House.)

LOL, Max, delicate? lol, Max is my friend's cousin, I'll have to ask if she agrees!

Aww, the chicken dance. *shakes head* hehe. UGH, a few people are chopping at the bit to know if you are going to Les Mis that weekend.

Oh, and I was at Drew's concert back in March and Nehal was sitting right behind me, so funny. Gotta love that guy.

I know next to nothing about Max, but that comment amused me a lot. I haven't talked to Nehal as much as I'd like to, but he seems like a darling--and he's from DC! Yay local people.

I've been going to see Les Mis a lot lately, in the realm of twice a week for the past month and a half, and I swore to myself that I'd stop doing it after the cast change since most of my favorite people are leaving. But it seems like a bunch of understudies are going to be on in the weeks following the cast change; Doug Kreeger the weekend of the 29th, Dan Bogart the weekend of the 6th, and now Drew the weekend after that. My bank account hates me; I'm averaging $150-200 per trip, and I need to buy new audio equipment as well as pitch in on a hotel room for next weekend. I'd love to go, but it might not be financially possible. And I have a moral and legal thing against accepting money for bootlegs, even just to cover expenses.

I'm quite sure there will be plenty of other people recording, especially if word gets around. Drew's got lots of fans. I'll be recording if I can make it, but that's an if.
