u-u-update?! *shock*

You know that place I haven't touched since October?

Well, I updated it.

I put the whole damn thing in a new, shiny, more-readable layout, doubled the size of the Book section, added all my new fic, put the translations side-by-side with the original French, added random fun Javascript things... oh yeah, and I gutted that fucking essay section because it was preventing me from getting the update done. I've been meaning to rewrite the stuff in there for such a goddamn long time to get it out of idiosyncratic LJ-style, but I procrastinated on it for ages and ages. Will be putting them back up one-by-one as I finish them.

Go check it out and see if anything's broken; it works fine on my computer, but the old version was cantankerous on some machines and worked fine on others. So a bit of outside testing would be welcomed.

I like the new layout! The sheer volume of the book section is making my head spin xD

Note: Layout gets kind of broken by the Slashy Plotbunny Generator.

Really? o_O It works fine for me in Firefox and IE. What happens to it?

....aaah.

*has no idea how to fix it, lala*

It's not that big a deal, I just thought it was a darn shame because layout's so pretty.

Rock on.

I'm going to hazard a guess that the problem with the generator is that the field is too long. It looks fine if you have an insanely high screen resolution like me and, I presume, you, but people on your average 1024x768 or god forbid lower are going to have trouble.

Even at the size it is, results occasionally get cut off, so I'm wondering if a textarea would work just as well; then you could make it narrower, but as tall as necessary. In fact, I'm gonna go test that theory.

Yep, works like a charm.

<textarea name="output" cols="45" rows="3"></textarea%gt;

seems optimal, if you decide to go with it.

Except formatted right. Damn.

Aaand, done. Thanks. :)

Aaah. Excellent idea, thanks. :D *goes to try it*
