Thanks! :D The Reaper was on the tomb of a sailor named Catherineau--so yes, that's a sinking ship in the sculpture--along with a slightly morbid little poem about Death being the storm no sailor can escape from. Whoever Catherineau was, you have to admire his style.

I made a special trip to get the Reaper, heh. Camera ran out of batteries the first time through. It was on the tomb of a sailor named Catherineau--so yes, that's a sinking ship in the sculpture--along with a slightly morbid little poem about Death being the storm no sailor can escape from. Whoever Catherineau was, you have to admire his style.

And that said, was incredibly amused by the Famille Ad Giry grave.
