Well, that's unpleasant.

Figures that the one time I feel daring enough to order a soy latte from Starbucks, it just has to be the pumpkin spice one. In other words, the one where the syrup has milk in it.

...yeahhhh.

I only took two sips before I felt the reaction starting, so I didn't end up having to use the Epi-Pen. But the Benadryl made me so tired and loopy that I had to leave work two hours early. I'm still out of it.

Pumpkin spice sounds very scary. Did you ask if it had milk in it?

It's supposed to taste like pumpkin pie filling - totally yummy, I love autumn at Starbucks.

But considering one then adds milk of some variety to it, I'm surprised there's any in the syrup itself. I wouldn't have been expecting that, either.
