Miscellaneous real-life updates.
From Saturday to probably next Sunday or so, I'll be off on a boat trip and therefore offline most/all of the week.
Some lowlife pathetic assclown stole the CD case out of my car. I am not quite sure whether to be annoyed, bemused, or outright amused. I'm not really fussed, since it was all backed up to my computer anyway, but burning all that music is a pain in the ass and besides, what kind of twerp steals CDs out of a random unlocked car? On the other hand, imagining the look on his face when he discovers that he just stole a bunch of scratched-up CD-Rs of the Phantom of the Opera in Swedish kept me entertained all through my massive CD-burning spree last night.
Turns out my ticket for the Québec Les Mis production is smack in the middle of Smith orientation week. Again, not really fussed; I'd originally bought it for closing night, but the show extended again so now it's just a random end-of-August ticket for me to fob off on someone who can use it. I'll probably end up going sometime in mid-July or mid-August instead.
Remember me squeeing about this adorable computer? Well, I caved. It should arrive at the end of the month.
And I'm incredibly excited about Smith, but I'll spare y'all the squee.
(Also, I must spend too much time on the internet, because my first reaction to the latest Constitution Smackdown by the Supreme Court--besides an overwhelming sense of relief--was to consider making stupid "u has a body" macros.)
