I finally watched The Crow this afternoon. And I have to say: holy shit, that's an awesome movie. If you haven't seen it, do so, now. Didn't so much like the tacked-on 'reunion' fluffy part of the ending, but the rest of it totally gave me warm and fuzzy feelings just by how fuckin' cool it was. Style-wise, it's like... a goth version of The Matrix, minus the sci-fi and conspiracy theories. Think angst, revenge, stylised violence, recurring symbolism, and Brandon Lee in leather. Think Batman Returns meets Bladerunner. Oh fuck, it's The Crow, it's impossible to describe and everyone needs to see it. *nod* Gotta love Brandon Lee's acting. Just... yeah. Buy it, rent it, whatever, just watch it.
