Edit: OMG OMG I MADE IT WORK *victory dance* I... would try to explain what I just did, but I'd probably lose everyone (including possibly myself) at "fit a curve to the data by calculating the coefficients of an nth degree Chebyshev polynomial."

I'd feel a lot more winful if I could get MathScript to left-divide my fucking matrices, but since I know fuckall about linear algebra and am trying to figure it out as I go, this is probably far too ambitious a quest.
