YAY I MADE UBUNTU WORK
Well, Ubuntu worked already, it's just that the interwebs didn't. But "Yay I managed to install the driver for my network card, without having internet access under Ubuntu BECAUSE THE WIRELESS DIDN'T WORK" didn't fit into an LJ subject line, so.
Okay, this will hopefully make my network programming project much much easier, as long as I don't fritter all my time away playing with my new shiny.
