I don't really want to talk about anything (except how mmebahorel and ladybranwen are awesome and took me out when I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and fed me sorbet and took me to see a deliciously wicked play), so here's another Les Mis audio. Day before London cast change. Features lots of Mark Dugdale being ridiculously epic--it wasn't his last show, but it was his last performance as Enjolras.

It is thoroughly lovely. Though the way he started out I absolutely was not prepared for his 'Red!' to ring out out so nice and strong.
(This recording also makes me extremely happy that I saw Alistair Brammer before I heard him, because oh dear does his voice ever not lend itself to audio-only experience.)

Oooh, yes. And I had forgotten how ridiculously long he held out "until the barricades ariiiiiiiiiiise," so I got a nice surprise when I was tracking this. (Although Thaxton outdid him--at cast change he held "arise" so long that it cut into Gavroche's next line.)

Thank you so much! Obviously I've seen Mark as Enjolras quite a lot (although perhaps less than I sometimes think), but I never got to see him after he got the gauntlets and became "ridiculously epic". This is lovely to have :D
