I am DONE. And I've got a week of hanging around with the Nerd Posse before graduation!

I have this compulsion to do things now. Vidding! Fic! Books! Wandering around enjoying the weather! Biking! CLEANING ALL THE THINGS! Things that do not involve being chained to my computer with half a dozen albatrosses hanging around my neck!

Edit: Also also also! For the tiny subset of my flist who are familiar with both Balzac and Doctor Who: Vautrin is secretly the Master, y/mfy?

Vautrin!Master would probably hit on Enjolras!Master though. And the Doctor would just sit back and cry because one of them is ginger and the other is prettier than he'll ever be his life is so unfair.

But mmmmm, Enjolras!Master. I keep getting flashes of ideas around it--like that the reason Enjolras is such an archetype and doesn't seem entirely real as a human being is because the Chameleon Arch didn't do a good job on him.

Also that the arch can suppress parts of you but probably not put anything there that wasn't there in the first place, personality-wise. Which actually works--singleminded obsessive devotion and contempt for the established order of things, turned to very different purposes. XD

Oh yeah. The more I think about the idea of the Master being Enjolras-with-a-fobwatch is... it's delicious. The thing is, though, Yana before turning back into the Master wasn't very Master-like at all. So any similarities can be explained away by the fact that duh, Enjolras IS the Master, he just doesn't remember it before opening the watch -- but at the same time any differences or anomalies between the two personalities can be explained away by the fact that, before reawakening as the Master, Enjolras didn't know he was anything other than what he was, just as Yana was somewhat self-effacing before he reawakened, so Enjolras can be ... virginal and modest if he chooses. :D

There are just so many rich and beautiful possibilities that come from Enjolras wearing a fob watch which, when opened, reawakens him as the Master. Post End of Time. You can imagine the glorious, delicious, wonderful possibilities all damn day. And eventually all these gleeful little imaginings will turn into written word and soon I'll even have something to share, but for now--oh, the hypotheticals alone are enough to make me happy.
